Ken's Offroad is a family business!! Even though I usually refer to it as my business, it could not be done without the help of my family and some really great friends!! People throw the term "Family owned" around a lot today, but what does it exactly mean. Here at Ken's Offroad, this is what it means to me!! I believe that by having my family involved with this business, that each of them bring something new to the table and fresh ideas that improve every experience that all of our customers have here. And I will never give in to the mind set of "that's good enough" I will always push to make things better and more cost effective for our customers!! And to do that I have a lot of people behind me with the same values!!
We are also a tread lightly retailer, and myself am a Master Tread Trainer. We believe in responsible out door recreation. To preserve trails for future use. We encourage everyone to help support local organizations that help keep trails open for everyone to use, including you!!
I like to start off by thanking those people:
First off, I like to give a huge overdue thank you to my wonderful wife Danielle, my incredible dad Ken, and my awesome brother Michael. The three of them have stood beside me step by step helping me carry the load to where we are today.I am forever thankful to them.
Alex, Andy, Aston: my three boys who have put up with my short fuse temper over the past year while I have worked 80+ hour weeks trying to put this together, I did this for you guys, I love you!!
Jen: You have had to deal with Michael, my dad, and myself. I know it hasn't been easy but we all really appreciate it. You have done some amazing stuff for us and made some really great stickers as well, Thank you!!
Jeremy, Ivy, Teddy, Lily: You have made your dad very proud and I know he is doing all of this work for you guys!!
Jeff Sr.: I thank you, because although you and I don't always have the same opinion, you dream so big and lead me down a road I never thought I could travel. You jumped right on board and kept us chugging along!!
Mom: I don't need to go into great detail for why I thank you, you already know. Thank You!!
Donna: I thank you for putting up with my father, brother and I, we have been kind of hard to be around while we planned this out, but you kept on telling us how great it was going to be and that kept the momentum up!!
Jack & Wendy: Although you can't be here day to day to see the progress, Danielle and I are very grateful for every thing you guys have done for us, thank you!!
Terri & Craig: You guys have stood there just giving us all the pieces we need to complete this puzzle and making it possible for us to pull this off. Thank you!!
Heather: I thank you for all of your business knowledge that you supplied for me. Helping us work through some really tough stuff. Thank you!!
Justin: You and I have spent the last 5 years working side by side, and we have taught each other a lot!! Thank you for being patient with me!!
Jonathan: Thank you for being supportive of this new business adventure, even though sometimes it wasn't directly seen, I know that it was there.
Ryan: You are my little brother and it doesn't matter how old you get, you will always be my little brother, but you help out a lot and I really do appreciate it, thank you!!
Rich, Meagan, and Jon: Although you guys may not be "family," by no means does that mean you helped any less!! For the last 8 months you guys have been unbelievably supportive, coming up every weekend and helping build and clean and organize, and that is why I can't say thank you enough!! Some of the best friends that anyone could ask for!!
I need to say a much-needed thank you to my Uncle Dave, Rich, my brother Jeff, and my brother-in-law Jake all for serving in the armed forces. They all make it possible for a guy like my to have my own business. I say thank you, to you and everyone else who has served in the armed forces, from me and on behalf of everyone else, you all deserve it.
Kelly and Uncle Dave: You both are truly missed every day, its a shame that you are not here today to see this, I hope we all make you proud!! I know we are all proud of you!! |
